On Tuesday 5th February, the newly re branded ‘National Lottery Community Fund’ were showcasing Headstart’s work nationally, and Lister School students were chosen to represent Headstart Newham at an event at the Houses of Parliament.

HeadStart Newham is a mental health service working closely with schools and the community to transform how young people and their families are supported to stay emotionally healthy. The students who attended were outstanding and chatted to a number of MPs, including Norman Lamb. It was a real pleasure to be there, a testament to HeadStart’s work and to our brilliant students. One of our students was even given a special mention in Norman Lamb’s speech.
