Thank you to all parents, carers and other family members who joined out Family Learning workshops on Wednesday 14th January. It was wonderful to see parents learning alongside their children in a range of subjects. There was a great variety of activities on offer including a student-led Scholars seminar on extra-terrestrial life, trumpet and violin lessons, experiments to create sparklers and slime in Science, a colourful Art workshop, and online Maths games and challenges. All attendees rated the workshops very highly, commenting that it was great to spend time as a family learning together, and parents appreciated gaining an insight into the classroom experience and finding out where to access recommended resources.

Our next event for parents is the year 8 Parents Evening and Pathways Event on the 30th January; we also have a special Parent Forum event on the 28th February focusing on how the school  can work together with parents and carers to help students prepare for successful futures, including learning about careers and gaining personal, social and health education.
