On Tuesday 30 students from Year 10 took part in a big data LifeSkills workshop session. The workshop was tailored around personal development, work skills and preparing students for the world of work.
This was a high profile event with Suresh Vishwanath the chief operating officer and Linda Hall head of risk and control both from Barclays Bank attending and working with our students. They shared invaluable insights and covered their career journeys as well as took questions from our students.
Our students found the session really insightful and greatly practical. They also highlighted that this was incredibly beneficial and they were really grateful for this unique opportunity. The students that participated were able to improve on their confidence, gain key skills and become more empowered as a result and overall the day was a great success.
